Tamil Nadu Minister Velumani said, “Will Kamal Hassan explain how much tax he had paid for his films? Or should I conduct an audit?”
Recently Kamal took part in a press conference to comment on the controversies against the reality show Bigg Boss. While he was answering the questions of the reporters, he said no government department is free from corruption.
Responding to this statement Minister Jayakumar said, “Kamal Haasan should not make such baseless accusations. If he could correctly name the departments, we are ready to take action.”
In addition to this response, Minister Velumani has said, “Did Kamal just arrive at Tamil Nadu? Where was he all the time? He has never spoken this way, but recently he is making many such baseless comments. Will he prove his claim on corruption? Has he got evidence? Without evidence, one should not make such accusation. Kamal should stop complaining against our AIADMK government. He should analyse and then talk. All the departments are excelling in service. Will Kamal Hassan explain how much tax he has paid for his films? Or should I conduct an audit?”
The President of Viduthalai Chiruthaigal Katchi, Thirumavalavan said, “Kamal and the Bigg Boss contestants should stay in a slum with the slum dwellers to understand how good they are.”
