Tokyo Olympics: Wishes flood in as PV Sindhu claims bronze medal

PV Sindhu bagged her second Olympic medal as she won the bronze medal playoff in the Tokyo Olympics. Consequently, she was poured in with wishes from all over the country.

Ace Indian shuttler PV Sindhu created history by winning the bronze medal in badminton at the Tokyo Olympics. It was an all-round performance from her, outplaying her Chinese opponent He Bingjiao in straight games - 21-13 and 21-15.

Consequently, it turned out to be Sindhu's second Olympic medal to date, winning silver at Rio 2016. Furthermore, she has also handed India its second medal after weightlifter Mirabai Chanu won the silver.
