Meanwhile, fellow Olympian and senior runner Sandeep Punia has shared an informative and noteworthy video ahead of the Games. In the video, he is seen running with Priyanka, while he reveals the three crucial elements for any athlete to succeed.

"Every athlete needs three crucial 'S' to succeed: Speed, stamina and strength. If one fails at even one of them, he/she fails as a whole. So, do remember it," he said in the video.

As far as India's athletics department in Tokyo is concerned, it would possess 26 athletes, including 17 men and nine women. 14 would be taking part in field and track events, with eight men, five women, and a mixed team.
