Federer was in Madrid to attend the opening ceremony of good friend and World No. 6, Rafael Nadal's tennis academy.

The journalists in netlive probably have forgotten that they work in the generation of Google. They picked an image from a video that had a compilation of brutal car crashes and reported as Federer's accident.

The rumour began on Twitter coming to a shock to everyone. Because of Federer, a few hours ago had tweeted pictures from the opening ceremony of Rafael Nadal's tennis academy.
