Odisha to host Asian Athletics Championship: Here’s your guide to the prestigious event

Odisha will host the 22nd edition of Asian Athletics Championship. Around 800 athletes will take part in the prestigious international event. Here’s the list of things which you need to know before the game begins.

Where: Bhubaneshwar, the capital city of Odisha, will be hosting the event at Kalinga Stadium. The stadium got a new look within the time span of three months to ensure that it meets the quality of the international event. However, Ranchi which was designated to host the games was pulled out.

When: 42 sporting events which are divided equally among men and women will begin from July 5-9 including the open ceremony.

Added value for the game: As an added value for the event, the winners of AAC will be qualified to the World Championships that will begin in London in August.
