Hubballi: The rains that lashed the city for the major part of the day forced the abandonment of the Belagavi Panthers and Bijapur Bulls Karnataka Premier League (KPL) 2018 tie at the KSCA Rajnagar Stadium here on Tuesday night (August 21). The rains left the outfield too wet for play.

The umpires made inspections at 7.40 pm and 8.20 pm before finally calling off the game at 9 pm. The ground staff worked tirelessly in an effort to get the ground ready but there had been too much water taken in.
The two teams had to settle for one point each.
