IPL 2018, CSKvsSRH: Rayudu scores century as CSK beat SRH by 8 wickets!

Clinical from CSK. Rayudu gets to a well deserved hundred to make his already impressive season even better. CSK have once again flexed their batting might. A win like this will send a signal to the rest of the teams. Anyone batting first against them the rest of this season would be aware of the fact that Dhoni's men can chase any target. 

This is the first SRH have lost a match defending a target in this season of IPL.

Chennai won against Hyderabad, as they chased down the 180 target with an over to go. The Chennai batsmen dominated, winning by 8 wickets. Shane Watson started well, scoring 57 from 35 balls. But the player of the match was Ambati Rayudu, who scored a century, 100 runs from 62 balls. Captain MS Dhoni was 20 not out. Sandeep Sharma took one wicket for Hyderabad.

SRH bowlers looked ineffective for once in the tournament. They had no answers to the assault from Rayudu and Watson. The ball wasn't swinging much, unlike the first half, they would say, but credit to the CSK openers for a grand show. The SRH bowlers were never allowed to settle. Rayudu, in particular, was audacious with the way he moved around at the crease and toyed with the bowlers. A good toss to win for CSK. The new ball bowlers got them off to a brilliant start, they leaked runs in the middle overs but managed to keep the score under 180. Batting is their strength, and they didn't make a disappointment. SRH may have lost, but they may be quietly happy with the fact that the bowlers came under the pump. They would want to cover all bases before the playoffs.
