Not being punctual to cost Indian cricket players

Synopsis

Newly- appointed coach Anil Kumble has found an innovative way to keep a check on the Indian cricket team's lack of punctuality.

The players, currently on a West Indies tour, who fail to board the pick-up bus will have to pay a fine of ₹3,300.

Kumble, who aims to professionalise and discipline the cricket team, has imposed the new rule to teach the importance of timeliness.

This change was brought by the coach as the team was been accused of being late for practice.

Kumble had instructed the players to report to him if they had any issues regarding the new rule, The Indian Express reported.
