Dhoni’s love and great loss before Sakshi

As it turns out, Dhoni, much before meeting Sakshi, was head over heels in love with a certain Priyanka Jha. A video also exists, where Dhoni’s childhood friends are seen making Dhoni blush by speaking about Priyanka.

Their love was certainly blooming just as Dhoni was making his mark in cricket. The then 22-year-old cricketer had even decided that Priyanka was the 'one'.

As the story goes, by 2003-04, Dhoni was selected for the India ‘A’ team and makes a strong impression on Ganguly, and the country, during the Kenya and Zimbabwe tours.

However, just as Dhoni started shining as a player, Priyanka Jha met with a fatal accident and succumbed to her injuries.

It was a very hard time for Dhoni. It is believed that since then, the shattered player decided to give all of his concentration to the game. As history attests, Dhoni indeed managed to climb the cricketing ladder.

After some years, Dhoni got close to his childhood friend and classmate Sakshi. The couple got married in 2010.

This untold story of Dhoni’s first love will apparently be shown in the upcoming movie ‘MS Dhoni’, where Dhoni will be played by Sushant Singh Rajput.
