He immediately left for 'Cauvery', CM's official residence. The next 30-minute-or-so meeting with the chief minister had kept those accompanied Puneeth in surprise. No, there wasn't anything political about it.
But, chief minister Siddaramaiah was so overwhelmed by the movie 'Raajakumara' - that he watched in Mysuru after the bypolls on Sunday -that he invited Puneeth to appreciate. "The movie had a great message to society. It teaches you how not to neglect your parents," is how Siddaramaiah congratulated Puneeth.
"Chief minister appreciating a movie is something that was unexpected. I'm moved by his invitation and appreciation," said Puneeth.
Puneeth was accompanied by the movie director Santhosh Anandram who had also directed 'Mr and Mrs Ramachari'.
On Sunday, after the bypolls, Siddaramaiah took time to catch up on 'Raajakumara' at DRC Multiplex in Jayalakshmipuram in Mysuru. He watched the 4.15 pm show.
