Speeding Truck crushes three to death in Malappuram

  Three people were crushed to death at Valancherry in Malappuram early Sunday morning when a lorry lost control and rammed into a footpath instantly killing them and injuring one person.

The deceased are identified as Fazil, Muhammed Noushad and Raseeq, all natives of Valanchery. The victims were standing by the roadside at around 4.30 in the morning when the truck hit them. The police suspect that the driver of the truck must have dozed off while driving leading to the accident. The driver  escaped the scene soon after the incident.
