Mysuru: Marigowda in jail, DC Shikha transferred

Days after K Marigowda surrendered before the Nazarbad police for threatening Mysuru Deputy Commissioner (DC) C Shikha, the latest list of transfers is making news as it includes Shikha’s name too.

Shikha has been moved as the Commissioner of the Social Welfare Department.

Sources also said that Marigowda, who is now lodged in the Mysuru jail, knew about the transfer of the officer.

D Randeep has been appointed as the new DC of Mysuru. The state government has released the list of officers being assigned.

Accordingly, 11 officers figure in the list.
