First phase of metro to be completed soon: BMRCL

Synopsis

Metro services between National College and Puttenahalli will kickstart as soon as a safety certificate is issued after a successful trial run.

 

The trial run will be conducted in the first week of October, said Bengaluru Metro Rail Corporation Ltd’s managing director Pradeep Singh Kharola. The BMRCL will complete all the pending work on this stretch in the next 14 days.

 

The first stage of metro work between National College to Puttenahalli was supposed to be completed by January 2016 but, was delayed due to a technical snag.

 

The construction work related to the 12 metro stations that fall on this line are in full swing. There has been no concrete information on fares as of now . According to Kharola, fares will be fixed after a discussed which will be held soon.
