Man kills wife in the middle of a road at Nemom

  In a gruesome incident on Sunday evening, a woman was stabbed to death allegedly by her estranged husband in the middle of a busy road at Nemom in Thiruvananthapuram. 

The woman, identified as Susheela,36, suffered fatal injuries on her neck and stomach and died at Medical College Hospital, Thiruvananthapuram. 

Susheela's husband, an ex-service man, who escaped the scene after attacking his wife, was later chased down by police. The victim had separated from her husband two years back. The couple has two children.
