Mammootty's 'Own your Water' project expands reach

A long-term project initiated by actor Mammootty titled 'Own your Water' to provide water at places that are experiencing tremendous shortage is now expanded to two more places in Ernakulam district.
"The main purpose of the programme is to find water resource for our needs ourselves and at least from this rainy season we should start the rainwater harvesting", said actor Mammootty.
The water distribution kiosks near Kaloor bus stand and Ernakulam KSRTC bus terminal were inaugurated by actors Salim Kumar and Kunchacko Boban respectively. Actor Mammootty, Nishanthini IPS, K.R. Vishwambharam IAS attended the function. This endeavour also aims at making people self-sufficient in water.
Several individuals and voluntary organisations would be part of the project.
