Malayalee youth beaten up by bus crew in Coimbatore

Synopsis

Bineesh works as a technician with the Railway Mechanical Section in Mettupalayam.  The youth was beaten up for asking the conductor to return his Rs 5 balance.  

A Keralite youth working with the railway department was beaten up by a bus conductor for asking for the balance money after he purchased his ticket in Coimbatore.


K S Bineesh employed as a technician in Mettupalayam boarded the state transport bus from Coimbatore to Ukkadam and paid Rs 10 as ticket fare, the conductor asked him to get the balance before getting down at Ukkadam.

 

However, when Bineesh asked for the balance, the conductor misbehaved and refused to return the balance, this led to a verbal spat between the two and the conductor along with the driver manhandled the youth in front of other passengers.


Bineesh was later admitted to the Coimbatore Medical College Hospital by other passengers. X-rays revealed a fracture on his right hand. The Police have arrested the conductor and the driver based on Bineesh's complaint.
