Malayalee nurse stabbed to death in Oman

A Malayalee nurse working with Badr Al Samaa Hospital in Salalah was found murdered in her flat on Wednesday night.
Chikku Robert, 28, from Angamaly in Kerala was staying with her husband Linson Thomas in Muscat for past three years.
Thomas, who works in the same hospital, came looking for his wife when she failed to report for duty at 10:00 pm on Wednesday and found her lying in a pool of blood. Police suspect that she was stabbed to death while resisting a robbery attempt. There are unconfirmed reports that the Oman police has detained a Pakistan national, who is living in the neighbourhood, in connection with the incident.
