Kerala Forest Department plans to set up a museum to teach people the value of forests and its role in facilitating habitat for animals and humans. Valuable things, including animal trophies, shut up in the strong rooms of Forest Department across the state will be displayed in museum. Ivory collection with the department alone amounts to 10 tons.
