Synopsis

The Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh has said that the central government is willing to initiate a CBI probe into the Jisha murder case. CBI will take over the investigation if the state government demands so, he said.

Mothers and sisters are not safe in  Kerala, the Union Home Minister alleged while addressing the National Democratic Alliance's poll campaign at Chathannoor in  Kollam on Friday.

Meanwhile,  the Kerala High Court will consider a Public Interest Litigation (PIL) demanding CBI probe into the murder. The PIL was filed by a Janadhipathya Vanitha Sanghatana, a women's organisation Friday.
