As the protests for #justiceforJisha spread, Kerala Pradesh Congress Committee (KPCC) president VM Sudheeran have joined the clamour for noose- for-the-rapists. The Congress leader said that the murders of the Dalit law student deserve capital punishment.

Speaking to media persons, after visiting Jisha's mother at Perumbavoor Government Taluk Hospital, Sudheeran said it was saddening that the incident took place in Kerala. Investigators are putting in their best efforts to bring the murderers before the law. With the help of scientific evidences, the police will catch the culprits soon, he hoped.
Minister for Social Welfare MK Muneer accompanied the state Congress Chief.
