Hyderabad: Man slits wife's throat in court premises

In a shocking incident, a man slit his wife's throat in a court premises in Hyderabad for filing case against him.

The incident occurred at a court in Rajendernagar on Monday, where the couple had come to attend the proceedings in connection with a case filed by the wife against her husband.

Nagender Babu attacked his wife Soujanya with a knife within the court premises as people watched in horror. He then fled the scene. The police are yet to arrest him.

Soujanya, who was bleeding profusely, was rushed to a hospital nearby. She is said to be critical.

According to the police, Soujanya filed a case against her husband as he had deserted her for another woman and was not been giving her money for monthly expenses.
