Girl jumps off to death from college building in Kerala
Synopsis
A 20-year -old girl student committed suicide after jumping off the college building at Chengannur in Alappuzha on Wednesday.
The deceased is identified as Athira Krishnan, a native of Venmani. she is a second-year student of B. Sc Botany at Christian College, Chengannur.
The girl jumped off the terrace of the college building after slashing her wrist. Though rushed to a hospital soon after the incident, her her life could not be saved. Athira succumbed to her injuries around 1.30 pm. The police have registered a case and started the investigation.
