Former Medical College principal arrested for molesting minor
Synopsis
Former principal of Kozhikode Medical College was arrested for allegedly molesting a minor girl at his clinic.
The complaint filed by Childline volunteers alleged that the 16-year-old girl went to PV Narayan's clinic seeking treatment for fever where she was sexually exploited by the doctor.
The doctor was taken into custody on Saturday evening and his arrest was recorded on Sunday under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act. Later, Narayanan was presented before Magistrate and remanded.
