Karnataka's ex-Labour minister jumps off hospital building

Passers by noticed Gurunath falling from the second floor of Sagar Apollo Hospital at Tilak Nagar around 1.30 pm.
Gurunath was the labour minister in H D Deve Gowda’s Cabinet in 1994. He was undergoing treatment for diabetes at Sagar Apollo Hospital and was admitted there two days back. He reportedly flung himself out from the second floor of the hospital. Sources said that he was supposed to be get discharged today.
Tilak Nagar police have rushed to the spot and are investigating the matter. Gurunath hailed from Shahabad in Kalburgi district.
