Kerala's never-ending faux pas: Another minister trolled

The latest heated moment came when Sudhakar was attacking those who allegedly 'insulted' Anju with 'corruption' charges. He told a TV channel "Who doesn't know Anju? Not just Anju, her husband Jimmy George and his entire family have dedicated their life for sports."
The Jimmy George he referred to was Anju’s brother-in-law. Anju is married to Jimmy's brother Robert Bobby George, a former national champion in triple jump, who had been her coach and mentor.
The late Jimmy George, a great volleyball player and the first Indian to become a professional player for a club in Italy, had died in a car crash on November 30, 1987.
Sudhakaran came under attack from social media users, who trolled him saying with words like -
"A person with such great knowledge has demanded Jayarajan's resignation."
"Here comes the next candidate on stage (after Jayarajan).. K Sudhakaran."
Earlier, Kerala Sports Minister EP Jayarajan hit headlines by calling legendary boxer Muhammad Ali a Keralite. Later the minister kicked off a fiery debate by declaring that a mangrove park at Kannur that had been closed down years ago after a High Court verdict would be re-opened.
