BJP state president BS Yeddyurappa told local media that he is ready with even more “explosive” information that would indict the Karnataka chief minister.
Early on Friday, an investigative piece aired on news channels in Karnataka revealed the existence of a diary, which contained details of hefty payouts made by some state Congress leaders to party high command.
Yeddyurappa has now demanded Siddaramaiah to resign and dissolve the state Assembly, also challenged the state CM to face the people.
“Let Siddaramaiah resign and seek a fresh mandate if he has even an iota of ethical and moral values after the revelations in the media about payment of huge amounts by Congress ministers to party high command,” a TNIE report quoted Yeddyurappa as saying.
“I will come out with more explosive revelations, this time directly nailing Siddaramaiah in the next 3-4 days,” he added.
Yeddyurappa had earlier alleged that the Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah had paid off the party high command to save his position, following which the CM had challenged BSY to produce any proof.
Recounting the statement, BSY said,“I stand vindicated”.
