DMK chief M Karunanidhi admitted to hospital in Chennai

DMK president M Karunanidhi was admitted to Kauvery Hospital in Chennai on Thursday morning. As per hospital sources, Karunanidhi was rushed to the hospital at around 5: 50 am where he has been admitted for hydration and optimization of nutrition.
A press note released by the hospital states that the DMK president is now stable but will be kept under observation for a couple of days.
Karunanidhi was accompanied by his wife Rajathiammal, son MK Stalin. Former Union Minister Dayanidhi Maran also accompanied them to the hospital.
