Chennai dog throwing: FIR filed against accused

Synopsis

 

A group under Shravn Kumar, a dog lover, has located the scene of the crime and have identified the culprits, who threw the dog from the terrace and video graphed the incident.

 

The culprits have been identified as Gautam Sudarshan, who threw the dog and Ashish Pal, who captured it on the camera. Both are final year medical students of Madha Medical College, Kundrathur. Kundrathur police are currently trying to nab the accused.

 

An FIR was filed with the police, who have sent two teams to arrest the accused. The police have also spoken to the families of the two accused, who have given an assurance that they will bring the two accused to a police station by Tuesday night.

 

Meanwhile, sources said that the chairman of the college has also contacted the parents of Gautam and Ashish, informing that their children would not be allowed to write their exams if they did not surrender.

Shravan Kumar has shared the copy of the FIR on Facebook, which is written in Tamil. He also posted a picture of the location where the incident took place.

 

Both have been booked under sections PCA 1960, IPC 428 and 429.
