Andhra Pradesh gets its first watersports hub

Synopsis

Watersports Simple India Private Limited confirmed that they have inked a deal with the APTDC so that they can operate in Andhra coast line. This initiative will draw the attraction of tourists as well.

Andhra Pradesh Tourism Development Corporation (APTDC) now wants to turn river Krishna into a hub of water sports hub. APTDC in collaboration Watersports Simple India Private Limited have already introduced several speed boats and jet kayaks.

 

APTDC chairman Jayarami Reddy was present at the Punnami Ghats to launch the boats officially. Reddy has stated that Vijaywada will turn into a hub of water sports enthusiasts and adventure.

 

Tarun Kakani, the executive director of Watersports Simple India Private Limited, confirmed that they have inked a deal with the APTDC so that they can operate in Andhra coast line.

 

Both the bodies have learnt about the growing interest for watersports and adventure among the youth in Andhra Pradesh. Therefore, APTDC along with Watersports Simple India Private Limited have taken this initiative to draw these youth. It in turn will also help the state to lure the tourists.
