The 24K bike comes at a price of 13 lakh dirhams (around Rs. 2 crores)! The makers say it took 15 months intricate workmanship to gold-plate it.
"It takes 15 months to produce each bike," says Frank Fernando, shop owner." It's a long painstaking process, a slow process because each component needs to be dismantled (for gold-plating)."

The bicycle is not the only piece of luxury in the shop. Gold plated and precious stone embellished everyday items like paper punching machine, pencil sharpener, micro phones, tennis racket are also available here.
