The Enforcement Directorate (ED) conducted raids at many places in Bengaluru and has seized around ₹ 93 lakh in new currency notes. The ED has arrested seven middlemen who were involved in currency exchange scam on 15% - 35% commission basis. It is alleged that the middlemen had some links with the bank officials.
