Paula Robinson was an unknown name till a blast rocked the Ariana Grande concert in Manchester city, United Kingdom on 22nd May. She was just a bystander when she heard terrified screams of youngsters and immediately jumped into action without thinking about herself.
She could have run to safety herself, but as a responsible citizen she took charge of 50 youngsters and tucked them to safety at a local Holiday Inn hotel. Robinson said that she ran out of the area minutes after the blast and encouraged a few teenagers to run away with her.
She did not stop at that. She posted her phone number on Facebook and urged worrying parents to pick up their children. Her Facebook post read, "We have got about 50 kids with us waiting to be picked up, they are safe we will look after them. We have taken as many kids as we can to Holiday Inn we will keep them safe and stay with them."
Widely appreciated for her act on social media, Robinson was also appreciated by Paul White on Tweet. He said,"The world needs more people like Paula Robinson – super helpful, kind and caring! Thank you for getting those 50+ children to safety!"
Joe Brannan also wrote, "Paula Robinson, get this woman a culpa, a hug and a knighthood. Hero." Twitter too is exploding with notes of appreciation for the hero.
