Manju Warrier dedicates her dance to friend, women who dared to fight evil

At Tagore Theatre, Manju Warrier dedicated her performance to the assaulted actress who is a close friend  The audience were deeply touched by her performance  

At Tagore Theatre,  dancer Manju Warrier's steps showed overwhelming concern for the safety of women and the audience were deeply touched.

She had dedicated this dance to her close friend and actress who was recently attacked in a moving car in Kochi.

Before the performance, Manju said, "I am thinking of one person (attacked actress) while I am standing here. It is none other than my friend who bravely picked up herself and is now back to work battling the wounds inflicted on her. She sets an example by showing that the spirit won't fade away even when wounded brutally.  I dedicate my performance to her. Not just her, it's for all the women out there who have fought all kinds of evil.''

The cultural dance event was held in association with the Swadeshbhimani Kesari award function organised by the State government.
