The Balochistan government has issued a notice urging top officials in the province to put 'Pakistan Zindabad as ringback tone (also known as caller tune) on their smartphones, according to Samaa Tv. The regulation, according to the announcement published by Balochistan's Services and General Administration Department, applies to administrative secretaries, extra secretaries, and deputy secretaries, as well as the heads of all government agencies.
The decision was made during a meeting presided over by Balochistan's chief secretary. The divisional and deputy commissioners have been informed as well. The notice explains how to customise the caller tone for all cell carriers. Sahir Ali Bagga is a singer/music director who wrote the song 'Pakistan Zindabad.' The song was created in conjunction with Inter-Services Public Relations and was published on March 23, 2019, on ISPR's YouTube account. While the warning does not state the cause for the change, it does advise how to change the ringback tones for officials who use different cell networks, according to Dawn.

Meanwhile, the decision has piqued the interest of social media users, who have expressed astonishment at the government's instruction.
The decision must be strictly adhered to by all department secretaries, additional secretaries, deputy secretaries, and heads of other departments involved. According to the report, the new secretaries have also been required to ensure that their subordinates use identical ringback tones on their mobile phone numbers.
According to the order, the Government of Balochistan, Science and Information Technology Department, has notified that in accordance with the decision made in the meeting held under the Chairmanship of the Chief Secretary, for the establishment of mobile Ring-Back Tone 'Pakistan Zindabad'.
