CQAL employees protest in Bengaluru against imposing corporate culture in defence sector

Bengaluru: Lashing out at the Centre for allowing private players to enter the defence sector, the employees union of Controller of Quality Assurance Electrical and Rader (CQAL & R), affiliated to India Defence Employees Federation, staged a protest outside the factory premises.

The chairman of the union, MKR Pallai said the three-day strike starting from January 23 had generated good response nationwide.

"L&T is known for making rods will develop developed war tanker, Ambani will develop flight and quality assurance will be checked by themselves. Government agencies like DRDO, CAQL &R will not have any say. This country's defence sector is in danger," he said.
