Former DGP T P Senkumar has once again expressed his disappointment over the probe in actress assault case by stating that the interrogation of Dileep was not carried out properly. Taking a jibe at the  way investigation team interrogated the actor, he said that police should not question people to enter 'Guinness records.'

Senkumar, who, retired from service on June 30, had in his farewell speech said that there are criminals in state police and the majority of them are IPS officers. Reiterating his stance former state police chief criticised the appointment of Tomin J Thachankary as the Additional Director General of Police at the headquarters.

He said the appointment of the IPC officer was like posting a butcher instead of a neurosurgeon. Former DGP also said that Thachankary has never proved his efficiency. He made the remarks while talking at 'Point Blank' programme on Asianet News.

Kerala High Court had on Friday asked state government to file a fresh affidavit on the appointment of ADGP Thachankary and said that it was not satisfied with the first affidavit of government. The officer has been facing prosecution in Muvattupuzha Vigilance Court for amassing wealth disproportionate to his source of income.
