This is the second time that Sebastian Paul is making statements supporting Dileep in actress attack case. He had earlier written an article supporting the actor, on a website of which he is the Chairman and Editor in Chief.

Sebastian Paul wrote that there must be persons who dare to speak for the actor. He also said that it was actor Manju Warrier who first mentioned about a conspiracy in the case, but he never came to know why she made such a statement.

"May be she had revealed the reason to ADGP Sandhya, who is in the Special Investigation Team probing actress attack case. However, is it right to play with one's life just on the basis of some doubts or unclear allegations made by 'interested' parties," he asked.

Comparing Dileep with PDP leader and Bengaluru serial blasts accused Abdul Nazer Mahdani, Paul wrote that the actor is a victim of police high-handedness. The society always tramples on persons who fall, he wrote.
