Prime Minister denied meeting Kerala Chief Minister for the fourth time

Synopsis

The Prime Minister's Office sent a reply stating that this topic shall be discussed with the Minister of Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution Minister Ram Vilas Paswan.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi, for the fourth time, denied meeting Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan. The CM requested the Prime Minister for a meeting on June 22 to discuss the ration problem prevailing in the state.

The Prime Minister's Office sent a reply stating that this topic shall be discussed with the Minister of Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution Minister Ram Vilas Paswan.

Last week, Pinarayi decided to meet the Prime Minister on the same demand. But that was denied too.

The Chief Minister asked the Prime Minister to consider the Budget allocation issues in the state government on March 20, 2017. Then too, he did not receive any positive reply.

On November 24, 2016, Pinarayi tried to see the Prime Minister before demonetization.  The meeting was sought to discuss issues related to demonetization. That request too was not entertained.
