Mammootty and Mohanlal, the superstars of Malayalam cinema, ventured into film industry almost at a similar time and made it big. But Pranav Mohanlal is just about to make his debut in lead roles while Dulquer Salman has already established himself in Malayalam film industry. 

Interestingly, Mammootty, in an interview opened up about the debut plans of Pranav. The mega star opined that Pranav has a unique personality and he could have debuted in lead roles much earlier. 

Mammootty also said that he is much impressed by Pranav's innocence and he is entirely different from other youngsters of his age. He stated that for him, Pranav is just like his son and opined that the star kid would surely be able to mark his place in the industry. 

Dulquer had already shared his excitement over Pranav's debut and welcomed him. Mohanlal's son will soon debut in the lead role of Jeethu Joseph film. There are reports that the movie will be an action thriller after Pranav learned Parkour for his role. 

The 26-year-old is venturing into acting after assisting Joseph in two films.
