Music director Bijibal's wife passes away

Music director Bijibal's wife Santhi Mohandas passed away at a private hospital in Kochi. She was admitted to the hospital ten days ago following a cerebral haemorrhage that led to an internal bleeding. 

Santhi, a classical dancer, got married to Bijibal in 2002. The couple has two children, Devadutt and Daya. 

Santi had undergone a surgery and was shifted to another hospital for better treatment. She was on the ventilator. Santi died at 4 pm on Tuesday. 

She had recently choreographed and presented classical dance to the tune composed by Bijibal. The Sanskrit composition on Goddess Saraswathi in Shreeranjani raga was sung by Soumya Ramakrishnan and Sangeeta Srikant. The lyrics were written by Santhosh Varma.
