Mohanlal, Prabhas to share screen space in big-budget flick?

Synopsis

Speculations are rife that Mohanlal has joined the cast of Prabhas' upcoming film Saaho Reports claim the veteran has agreed to play a part which is almost as important as the lead role

Mohanlal is reportedly set to play an important role in Prabhas' upcoming film Saaho, in what has come as a massive news for South Indian moviebuffs.

Bollywood stars Shraddha Kapoor, Neil Nitin Mukesh, Jackie Shroff and Mandira Bedi have already been roped in for the trilingual, and now speculations are rife that Mohanlal will also join the cast.

There has been no official confirmation on Mohanlal's participation in the film just yet but various reports claim the veteran has agreed to play a part which is almost as important as the lead role played by Prabhas.

Mohanlal enjoys a good market and fan following in Tollywood, after his recent Telugu releases Janatha Garage and Manamantha, with the former being a massive hit. Similarly, Manyam Puli and Kanupapa - the Telugu dubbed versions of Pulimurugan and Oppam - did good business and earned rave reviews in Telugu speaking regions.

Mohanlal will be next seen in Lal Jose's Velipadinte Pusthakam, which is all set to hit the screens on Thursday, August 31.

Meanwhile, Prabhas has earned a massive fan base across India with the Baahubali films, making Saaho one of the most awaited films in the country's history. Directed by Sujeeth of Run Raja Run fame, Saaho will be produced by Vamsi and Pramod, under their banner UV Creations.  The film is to be made simultaneously in Hindi, Telugu and Tamil.
