The move of government points to their upcoming liquor policy, Chennithala said. "The action of LDF government hints to their imminent liquor policy. They are trying to drown the state in liquor. UDF will organise a strong protest against state government's move," he said.
The Congress leader also said that the performance of LDF government during last one year was a complete failure and the Opposition was successful in exposing this. "The LDF government is trying to present achievements of UDF as their own. It was the UDF that started all progressive projects like Kochi Metro, Vizhinjam Port, GAIL pipeline, etc. among others," he said.
Not only did the government failed to provide five lakh persons it has been creating a wrong impression among the public on various issues. "The state government, in its progress report had claimed that the public sector units in the state have become profitable after they came to power. They are playing a number game to mislead people," Chennithala added.
