The police, investigating the Kochi actress attack case, will reportedly question actress Kavya Madhavan's mother Shyamala again.

The probe team had recorded Shyamala's statements on Tuesday after interrogating Kavya at Dileep's ancestral house in Aluva. However, they noticed some contradictions in Shyamala’s statements and have now decided to quiz her once again, according to reports.

It is Shyamla who runs Laksyah, Kavya’s online clothing store based in Kakkanad. Pulsar Suni, the prime accused in the case, had told the police that he had visited "the shop in Kakkanad" to hand over the memory card, which contained the visuals of the attack.

When asked if she Suni knew before, Shyamala replied in the negative and denied having any knowledge about the alleged conspiracy. CCTV footage from the shop and areas near it were sent for examination to confirm this.

The police also asked Shyamala if the assaulted actress had any role in the incidents that led to Dileep and Manju Warrier's divorce, and also if Dileep held any grudge against the actress. Shyamala told the police that she doesn't know anything about those matters.

Meanwhile, it is understood that the police have decided not to interrogate Kavya again soon, despite reports claiming that she was not entirely cooperative when questioned on Tuesday.
