Actress attack case: Court asks police to shift Pulsar Suni to Viyyur jail

Synopsis

The Angamaly court issued the order to shift Pulsar Suni from the Kakkanad district jail to Viyyur central prison Suni informed the court that some of the inmates at the Kakkanad jail harassed and attacked him Suni told the judge that if he made any more revelations in court, he would face attacks when he returns to jail

The Angamaly court has asked the police to shift Pulsar Suni, the prime accused in the Kochi actress attack case, to the central prison in Viyyur near Thrissur.

The court issued the order to shift Suni from the Kakkanad district jail to Viyyur after the accused complained that some of the inmates harassed and attacked him, with an intent to cause physical harm.

Suni told the judge that if he made any more revelations in court, he would face more such attacks when he returns to jail. The accused also said that he cannot even complain about this to the Kakkand jail superintendent.

Speaking to reporters outside the court, Suni said that he cannot reveal the identity of the ‘madam’ as he fears that he would be attacked in jail if he does. Suni also reiterated that  the ‘madam’ is an actress and she had a role in the conspiracy behind the attack.

On Wednesday, Suni's remand period was extended till August 30. Actor Dileep, another accused in the case, is currently lodged at the Aluva sub-jail
