Here is how Nipah virus is affecting Mollywood, celebrities

17 people from Kozhikode and Malappuram have died due to the Nipah infection. People prefer to stay home and are avoiding public events to stay away from the infection. 

Not only common people in Kerala, but the entire  Malayalam cinema industry itself is worried about the Nipah virus spread. People in Kozhikode and Malappuram are afraid to get out of their houses due to the spread of Nipah virus. In this situation, it has been decided to postpone the release of Malayalam movies. 

Mohanlal's film 'Neerali' and 'Tovino Thomas' film 'Theevandi' will release in July. Mammootty's film 'Abhrahaminde Sandathikal' is all set for a release but there are chances that this film also might release later. 'My Story' starring Prithviraj -Parvathi will also be released next month.
