Fahad files complaint against fake FB profiles putting ads

Synopsis

Fahad complained against fake Facebook accounts in his name He said some of them are active for months  Some have even put on ads seeking child actors to perform Fahad's childhood

Malayalam actor Fahad Fazil has filed a complaint with the police against a fake Facebook account in his name. He clarified that several profiles are being created in his name and are active on social media. 

Several persons are trying to contact me through such accounts, but they are all fake. Some of them are active for months, the actor complained. 

Earlier, Fahad's father and famous director Fazil had informed media that such profiles are fake. He also said that they have never posted any ad seeking child actors to perform

Fahad's childhood. Neither Fahad nor me are aware of such a film. No one should fall prey to such fake news, he said. 

The advertisement at first appeared in social media on June 6. The ad said that the director is looking for a child who has a resemblance to Fahad to do his childhood role in a film they are planning to make. A phone number too was given in the advertisement. Fazil explained that it is in the name of some other Fahad but is not functioning.
