Sad and angry with George's comments: actress to Women's Commission

Synopsis

Actress gave statement to Kerala Women's Commission No one should ever go through such an experience, she said. Women's Commission did not record her sentence

Assaulted actress said she felt sad and at the same time angry on hearing P C George MLA's comments. She gave the statement to Women's Commission members who visited her at the home. 

The repeated comments of the MLA is very painful. No other woman should ever face my experience. I never expected such a statement from a legislator, she said. 

However, Women's Commission did not record her statement as the panel is taking further measures on its own. The actress also told Commission that she would cooperate with the government and Women in Cinema Collective.

The actress had earlier filed a complaint with the Chief Minister against the statements made by P C George. The MLA had asked how she managed to go for shooting on the next day of the assault. 

Following this, P C George asked whether Kerala police would arrest Pinarayi Vijayan if Pulsar Suni had mentioned the name of the Chief Minister.

With the legislator continuing his verbal spats speaker of Kerala Assembly also came up against the MLA and said he will take action against him if he continues with his comments.

The MLA had also ridiculed Women's Commission for registering a case against him.
