Never had such a colourless Onam since joining films: Assaulted actress

No one visited the actress or wished her Onam this year This is the first Onam with no celebrations in last 15 years, said actress She is not using WhatsApp for past two months and misses her old days

For the past few days, several persons from film fraternity visited Dileep to wish him Onam, and he even received 'Onakkodi' from actor Jayaram. Meanwhile, no one even thought about the assaulted actress and did not even made an effort to call or message her and wish Onam.

This is the first time I am having such a colourless Onam in last 15 years, the actress said. 

This is the first time in her life that no pookkalam was made for Onam. There were no celebrations, sadya or visitors and no one even wished her this year.   

"It is the first time I am having an Onam without any visitors. I was at home with my mother and brother. It was just like any other day. The best days were when I had my father with me. All that is left is the days we used to celebrate with my father," the actress said. 

I am not using WhatsApp anymore. So there were no wishes from friends. Currently, I am acting in a few films, but have not committed new projects. Marriage will be held in January.

However, it will be a very small function with just close friends and relatives, the actress said. 

Meanwhile, people from film fraternity visiting Aluva sub-jail to meet Dileep is continuing. Actors Vijayaraghavan and Nandu and producers Ranjith Rajaputra and Evershine Mani visited the actor on September 7. 

Ranjith Rajaputra told media persons that he visited the actor as he is his friend. He also said that he had visited the actress. 

Earlier, actor Jayaram, Harishree Ashokan, Suresh Krishna, director Ranjith, producers Antony Perumbavoor and Hamsa had visited the actor.
