Family members of Dileep visited the Judgiammavan Temple (Judge-Uncle Temple) in Cheruvally, Kottayam. The temple is considered as a resort of people who are slowly losing hope in the judiciary.

The temple, situated inside the 1100-year-old Cherually Sree Bhagavathy Temple, is believed to be a true resort for innocent litigants. Legend is that people started to worship the Judge after Govinda Pillai, the Royal Judge of Travancore Kingdom, took his life for giving a wrong statement.

Dileep's brother Anoop and other family members reached the temple on Tuesday seeking blessings of 'Judge God' while the bail plea of the actor is still pending with the High Court. The court will consider his bail plea on July 20.

They performed various offerings and left the temple at 10 pm. Temple authorities said that Anoop told them that the actor too is planning to visit the temple once he gets bail from the court, Manorama News reports.

The place became famous after politicians like former Kerala Chief Minister K Karunakaran, and Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Jayalalithaa visited the temple seeking blessings as they were awaiting court verdict. Former cricketer S Sreesanth too had visited the temple as he was facing court procedures after charged with match-fixing.
