Synopsis

There were reports that Mohanlal is teaming up with Amitabh Bachchan for Odiyan Latest reports reveal that Big B has backed out of the project Big B has been cast for the role of Bheeman in Mohanlal starrer Randamoozham

Bollywood legend Amitabh Bachchan has backed out from Mohanlal starrer 'Odiyan'. Reports also state that Tamil actor Sathyaraj.

However, the crew members have not revealed the reason behind Bachchan's decision. 

 

 

The big budget film also features Manju Warrier in the lead role and is directed by Shrikumar Menon. 

 

 

It was expected that the movie would mark the third collaboration between Big B and Mohanlal. However, it has now become clear that movie buffs will have to wait till 'Randamoozham' to see the duo sharing screen space. 

Bachchan will play the role of Bhima in Randamoozham, and the director himself had made the announcement. Earlier, there were reports that both Big B and Aishwarya Rai were joining hands with Mohanlal for Randamoozham. However, director Shrikumar Menon clarified that only Bachan would be seen in the film and not Aishwarya. 

 


 

The shooting of Odiyan is progressing in Varanasi. National award winner Harikrishnan has written the script while production design of this visual treat is by Sabu Cyril and Shaju Kumar will be behind the camera.
